Rules of Engagement & Faction Wars

In order for one faction to engage in an attack on another faction (either as part of a war or not), both factions must have had a faction topic for at least 2 weeks. The reason for the attack must stem from in-character developments. Attacks against another faction or a faction war between factions must not be based off of real world rivalries and instead should develop solely by what occurs in-game.

In order for a faction war to take place, all involved factions' leadership must be in a full agreement for the war to take place and Faction Management must be aware of the faction war and the events that took place leading to the war. The factions' leadership should be prepared to produce evidence of the events that took place leading to their desire to war, including screenshots, videos or chat logs.

A faction may only attack another faction once every 48 hours. The attacked faction may retaliate but will also have to wait 48 hours before attempting another attack on the faction. Exceptional circumstances may be warranted in the event that the two factions incidentally come to conflict somewhere away from their turfs where it was not their initial intention to attack the faction (i.e., if at a block party members from two factions are incidentally present and tension raises that would warrant an attack of a rival faction member).
